F1 2019

F1 2019 is Codemasters' annual Formula 1 simulation for the 2019 season, developed in partnership with F1 and overseen by F1's technical team, including Ross Brawn and Pat Symonds.

This was the first entry in the series to incorporate the FIA Formula 2 Championship as a feeder series, letting players race a full F2 season before stepping up to F1. The 2018 F2 season is included in the base game, with the 2019 F2 grid added through post-launch updates.

Multiplayer gained a regulation-compliant 2019 car designed in collaboration with F1's own technical team, available with a range of livery designs for player customisation. The game shipped with placeholder team liveries that were replaced by the final season's designs ahead of the season opening.

Career mode, time trial, classic-car content (with older grids from previous seasons), and online multiplayer all return. The handling model continues Codemasters' iteration from earlier F1 titles, more accessible than a pure simulator but with real differences in car feel between teams and conditions. As an annual sports title it's now superseded by later entries in the series, but the 2019 season is preserved here for completionists and fans of the specific era.
