BallisticNG is set in the 2159 Anti-Gravity League and openly invokes the late-90s tradition of Wipeout, Rollcage, and Jet Moto. Ships hover, tracks twist through futuristic geography, and a track-mounted weapon roster turns each race into a combat event as much as a time trial.

Five speed classes scale from a comfortable starting pace up to velocities that break the sound barrier on every straight, with gameplay modifiers to tune base speed inside each class. Smart Assists help newcomers — steering, pitch, and airbrake assists that suggest inputs only when you're not providing your own. The campaign packs Race, Tournament, Eliminator, Knockout, Survival, Upsurge, Rush Hour, and Stunt modes.

Neokot built the modding pipeline alongside the game itself. The spline-based track editor, ship importer, C# code modding support, custom campaign tools, livery editor, color palette and music importing all use the same toolkit the developer uses. Splitscreen for two players, cross-platform online multiplayer, full SteamVR cockpit support, and a five-hour soundtrack of electronic music round it out. DRM-free distribution; Steam is only used for updates and leaderboards.
