About Batman Arkham Knight
Batman: Arkham Knight closes Rocksteady's Arkham trilogy by opening up all of Gotham City for free-roaming play. The map runs roughly five times larger than Arkham City's, and the centerpiece addition is the Batmobile: fully drivable, switchable between high-speed pursuit and military-grade tank mode, and woven into combat, traversal, forensics and puzzle solving.
The story is Scarecrow's. After his defeat in Asylum, he returns with a fear toxin powerful enough to evacuate Gotham overnight and gathers Penguin, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, Firefly, Poison Ivy, Riddler and others around him. A masked figure called the Arkham Knight, original to this game, leads a private militia against Batman and seems to know him personally.
FreeFlow Combat carries over the trilogy's chained-counter feel and adds gadget-during-glide attacks and environmental finishers. Stealth, forensics and detective scanning all upgrade further. Most Wanted side missions let you take down individual villains parallel to the main story, and the trilogy's worth of upgrades and gadgets carry forward into Batman's busiest open world.
