Assassin's Creed Liberation HD

Assassin's Creed Liberation HD brings the pre-American Revolution chapter of the series to PC and HD consoles for the first time, with refined gameplay, a deepened story and a full graphical overhaul. The year is 1765: as tensions build toward revolution in the north, Spanish forces move to seize Louisiana in the south, but they must contend with Aveline, a lethal assassin pursuing her own quest for freedom.

Aveline, of mixed French and African heritage, hunts and eliminates her enemies with a varied arsenal that includes a machete, a poison-dart blowpipe, a whip and dueling pistols, whether striking with a multiple-assassination technique or luring foes into traps. Her journey carries her from the crowded streets of New Orleans into voodoo-haunted swamps and ancient Mayan ruins, placing her at the center of the turbulent New Orleans revolution and the birth of a new nation.

The game runs on the AnvilNext engine, which drives its physics, animation and combat, and features a Tree Navigation system for outmaneuvering enemies in the Louisiana bayou and underwater exploration in search of lost Mayan treasure. This HD release adds high-dynamic-range rendering, high-definition environments and characters, updated cinematics, reworked missions for better pacing and new missions that delve further into Aveline's story, along with remastered music and all-new sound effects.
