Remember Me unfolds in Neo-Paris, 2084, a city where personal memories can be digitized, bought, sold and traded. The last remnants of privacy have vanished, citizens have accepted a surveillance society for the comforts smart technology provides, and this memory economy hands immense power to a tiny handful of people.

You play Nilin, a former elite memory hunter able to break into people's minds to steal or even alter their memories. Fearful of her knowledge and abilities, the authorities arrested her and wiped her memory clean. After escaping prison, Nilin sets out to recover her identity with help from her last and only friend, and the search for her past makes her the target of the very people who built the surveillance state.

The game blends combat and exploration, sending you through the environments of Neo-Paris as both hunter and prey, using Nilin's martial arts skill and a Combo Lab that lets you customize her combos on the fly. Its standout mechanic, Memory Remix, lets you alter parts of a person's memories in real time, changing how characters see themselves and others, with grave consequences for the world of 2084.
