Bomb Chicken

Bomb Chicken is an exploration platformer with an unusual hero: after a freak accident, an ordinary chicken gains the ability to lay bombs. The whole game spins on how versatile that single mechanic can be. Stack explosives into a tower to reach impossibly high ledges, kick bombs at staff and hostile wildlife, bounce them around corners and through walls you cannot pass, use them as a weight or a barricade, and dig through the world to expose hidden areas.

The setting is the temple-turned-headquarters of BFC, a fast-food giant famous for an addictive blue hot sauce introduced in the mid-1980s. Nobody quite knows what the sauce is or why it is so addictive, and rumor says it is collected from within the temple rather than made, so the company guards both with heavy security. Uncovering that secret, and a legend warning of a dreadful curse for anyone who tampers with the sauce, is what drives the chicken forward, all the way to the question of which came first: the chicken or the bomb.
