About Borderlands
Borderlands Game of the Year Enhanced returns to the original shooter-looter that started the franchise, this time with visual upgrades and a stack of additional content. Equip bazillions of guns as one of four trigger-happy mercenaries with unique RPG skills, take on the lawless desert planet Pandora, and chase powerful alien technology called The Vault. Solo or with up to four players in co-op.
The new edition adds higher-resolution character models, environments, weapons, and textures, with 4K display support pushing the original cel-shaded art further than ever. New weapons, new character heads, and new gold chests and keys expand the loot pool, while traditional rendering techniques combined with hand-drawn textures keep the iconic art style intact. Rocket-launching shotguns, enemy-torching revolvers, and lightning-round SMGs sit alongside intense vehicular combat across Pandora's badlands.
All four add-on packs are included: The Zombie Island of Doctor Ned (Jakobs Cove and the walking 'undead'), Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot (Marcus Bank's arena), The Secret Armory of General Knoxx (more story, vehicles, and guns than any reasonable person would need), and Claptrap's New Robot Revolution (a massive uprising of your former little friends).
