About Gunfire Reborn
Gunfire Reborn is a first-person shooter built on a roguelite spine with RPG-style hero customisation. You pick one of several heroes with distinct abilities, drop into a procedurally generated set of stages, scavenge randomly dropped weapons and items along the way, and try to push deeper than you did last time. Each run plays differently because the level layouts, item rolls and weapon selection are all shuffled, and the heroes themselves are different enough that switching characters genuinely changes the strategy.
The loop is structured around level-based progression rather than a single contiguous map. Stages are short, encounters peak in distinct combat-rhythm moments, and checkpoints let you make build decisions — over a hundred items shape the way your run develops, with weapons that pull double duty as build-defining artifacts. Death sends you back to the start with carryover unlocks that broaden the option pool rather than directly powering you up.
Up to four players can take a run cooperatively, which substantially shifts how the harder stages and game-plus tiers play out — coordinated builds across multiple heroes are where some of the more absurd synergies live. The art style is the studio's own — cel-shaded, vibrantly coloured, with a slightly cartoonish weight — and the long-term play sits between chasing more powerful runs and exploring how every new combination of hero, items and weapons reshuffles the game underneath.
