Broken Age

Broken Age is a hand-animated, family-friendly adventure stuffed with puzzles, voiced by an all-star cast that includes Elijah Wood, Jack Black and Masasa Moyo. It grew out of a record-shattering crowdfunding drive, with industry veteran Tim Schafer at the design helm, and tells a timeless coming-of-age story of barfing trees and talking spoons.

Vella Tartine and Shay Volta are teenagers whose circumstances are eerily alike, even as their worlds could hardly be more different. Vella's village has marked her to be fed to a fearsome monster, and she chooses to fight back; Shay, meanwhile, lives alone aboard a spaceship in the care of a doting computer, aching to break out and do some good.

You move freely between the two stories, helping each of them seize the reins of their own life and handle the unexpected adventures that follow. The cast also features Jennifer Hale, Wil Wheaton and Pendleton Ward.
