About Can of Wormholes
Can of Wormholes is a small puzzle game with a strict design rule and a bizarre premise: you play a sentient tin can and your job is to interact, in increasingly inventive ways, with worms. Push them, slice them in half, swallow them, flip them, squish them — the verbs are simple, but the way they combine with the level geometry produces unexpectedly deep puzzles.
Over a hundred hand-crafted stages run through the game, each designed to teach one new idea or interaction. There is no filler — every puzzle introduces something specific that the level wants you to notice. An interactive overworld ties the stages together and hides puzzles of its own, so the boundary between menu and game is intentionally blurred.
Quality-of-life is generous. Unlimited undo and restart eliminate fail-state stress. Every stage has an optional alternate mini-stage built as a playable hint, designed to lead the player toward the insight needed for the main puzzle without giving the solution. Keyboard or gamepad input both work; no mouse, no time pressure, no simultaneous key presses, and the game flags itself as accessible for colorblind and hearing-impaired players.
