About The Last Cube
The Last Cube is a 3D puzzler where the protagonist is, literally, the cube. You roll it across grid-based maps in an abandoned brutalist world, and the central mechanic is the sticker system: stamping different stickers onto each of the six faces grants different abilities depending on which face touches the ground.
Stickers let your cube dash forward, hop, paint trails, clone itself, change gravity and more. The puzzle design folds these around carefully shaped levels where the right face has to point the right direction at the right moment. New stickers introduce themselves regularly, and existing ones keep getting recombined into fresh shapes.
Environments span foggy abysses, lava-lit factories and golden mountain vistas, each carrying its own lore drops and bonus puzzles to chase. Improc Games leaned into a story about a dying cube planet, told through environmental detail rather than cutscenes. The game took multiple indie awards for its puzzle design.
