Conquest of Elysium 5

Conquest of Elysium 5 is a quick turn-based fantasy strategy game with a touch of roguelike. The series' defining feature is that each race plays completely differently (not a unique building here or a unique unit there, but fundamentally distinct mechanics and goals). A druid amasses a forest empire to summon woodland creatures. A dwarf concentrates entirely on mines and slow unit upgrades. A Scourge Lord drains life force across Elysium through pyramids of power.

24 factions sit at the center of that variety, joined in the fifth installment by four additional planes, boats and ports for traveling to islands beyond the main continent, three new factions, new rituals and summons, new battle maps for different fortifications, and new independent factions that fight each other.

The game has ten different planes including an Infernal plane where demons live and a new sky-realm above Elysium accessible via beanstalks, rainbows, and tall mountain spires. Banishing a devil sends it back to Inferno; storming Inferno and slaying it permanently is possible but extremely difficult. Most factions start with a random set of rituals and combat spells, so combined with random maps no two games unfold the same.
