Creepy Castle

Creepy Castle is an exploratory side-scrolling RPG about Moth, an awesome moth conveniently named Moth, who arrives to investigate a conspiracy welling up inside an ancient castle. The keep's master is leading its denizens to build a revolutionary device meant to push the world onto a new path of evolution, and the secret behind it is far too vast to be contained by mere castle walls.

It has the look of a retro classic but the mechanics are modern. Combat takes a twist on traditional turn-based fighting through Duels, which let you score free hits by performing well, with each enemy and boss bringing its own type of Duel and special twist. Outside of Duels, you cannot relax either, since the castle is full of real-time hazards straight out of run-and-jump platformers.

The game follows not just one story but many, with each scenario a multi-hour adventure carrying its own characters, plot and gameplay. Dusty tomes scattered throughout build a comprehensive collection of lore for the Dopterra universe, a bestiary details your foes, and the interface can be customized with window skins, character glow filters and custom health bars.
