Dead Island 2 unleashes a deadly virus across Los Angeles, turning its inhabitants into zombies. You are bitten and infected, but more than just immune, and you set out to uncover the truth behind the outbreak and discover who, or what, you really are. The goal is to survive, evolve and become the ultimate zombie slayer.

Set fifteen years after the events of Dead Island: Riptide, the game features a new cast of characters and a new narrative, while keeping the series' signature blend of brutal melee action and immersive environments. It is a survival horror first-person shooter set in an open world, where you explore, gather resources, interact with survivors and battle swarms of zombies in fast-paced combat.

For customers in Germany, once zombies are defeated players can no longer deal damage to or further dismember zombie corpses, and German players can play co-op with international players through friend invites, while public matchmaking is restricted to other USK players.
