About Dome Keeper
Dome Keeper alternates between two phases the entire run: dig down for resources and ascend to defend the dome. The dome itself is your fixed base, mounted with a primary weapon you operate manually during attack waves, and the surface above your shaft is what you're protecting. Beneath the dome, a procedurally generated tunnel system holds resources, relics, and the occasional unexpected reward.
Timing is the central tension. Each descent into the mine takes you further from your dome, and a clock counts toward the next attack. Strike too deep and you won't make it back before monsters arrive. Return too early and you've left valuable ore in the ground. The choice between depth and safety is the entire moment-to-moment rhythm of the game.
Progression layers across runs and within them. Spend resources between attacks on upgrades to dome defenses, drill power, and movement speed. Two keeper types, four different domes, four primary gadgets, and dozens of secondary gadgets combine into playstyles ranging from fast-burst mining to defensive turtling. Four-player co-op or versus modes add a community layer for players who want to share the dome with friends.
