GRIME

GRIME is a fast and unforgiving action-adventure RPG and 2.5D metroidvania set in a surreal world obsessed with anatomy and proportion. An unusual material collapses in on itself, the world shudders, and you are suddenly squeezed into existence, left to survive a place that is alien in its own strange familiarity.

Combat is its core. You crush foes with living weapons that mutate form and function mid-fight, from clawing swords to centipede whips, and then absorb their remains with a black hole to strengthen your vessel. Punishing enemies by parrying their attacks, smashing them from the ground or the air, and consuming them feeds a unique skill progression where you hunt down and absorb challenging monsters to upgrade only the traits that suit your style.

The interconnected world is rendered in unearthly 3D, full of weeping caves, face-covered deserts and otherworldly civilizations to explore. Colossal bosses dozens of times your size demand both reflexes and lateral thinking, and consuming them grants game-changing abilities for combat and traversal alike. A New Game Plus and three DLC expansions, adding new areas, bosses, weapons, abilities and a secret boss, keep mutating the world around you.
