About Dynopunk
Dynopunk is an ironic adventure game from Tomato Fantasia set in a cyberpunk world where humanity never existed — the meteor missed, dinosaurs kept evolving, and now they live in high-tech megacities. You play Chris, the last surviving T-Rex on Earth, running a repair shop and saving up for a time machine to find love in the past.
The gameplay is a repair-shop sim with conversation as a core mechanic. Customers bring in gadgets; you ask questions to diagnose the problem, perform the fix carefully, and serve them a drink (cold soda, hot coffee, etc.) suited to their mood to boost the tip. Your assistant, a talking printer, dispenses sarcastic business advice and short-arm jokes throughout.
The story branches based on conversation choices, repair quality, and how well you read each customer. Each visitor has their own backstory, dreams, and arc that the player can affect — some appear once, others become recurring threads.
The presentation is pixel art that pays explicit homage to 1990s console RPGs, paired with a lo-fi soundtrack drawing from 80s synth-pop and cyberpunk noir. Jokes, references, and Easter eggs run dense throughout dialogue, and the overall tone is warm despite the dystopian setting.
