Ratopia

Ratopia blends strategic survival with city building around a single twist: every citizen has their own wealth and unique characteristics. There is no such thing as a free lunch in this rat society. You supply jobs and services to your ratizens to keep them happy, and that economic loop drives everything else.

The policy layer is where the game gets interesting. Draft detailed tax policies and tune them to extract profit while keeping workers from revolting. Define rules that either create or prevent social disasters, and decide whether your citizens grind tirelessly for greater state profit or sustain something gentler that still pays the bills.

Expeditions push beyond the city. Explore the world and find the remains of the great old rats, bringing prosperity through grand discoveries. Some adventures risk waking up apex predators that haven't bothered anyone in a while. But who's to worry?
