Eternal Threads

Eternal Threads is a first-person, single-player puzzle game built around time, choice and consequence. As Operator 43 of the Second Chance project, you are sent to the North of England in May 2015, where six housemates died in a fire. You cannot simply prevent the blaze; instead you must reshape the decisions they made in the week leading up to it so that every one of them lives.

From the start, the full seven-day timeline is open to you. Significant moments can be watched and altered in any order and as many times as you like. Small changes shift objects or reveal hidden stories, while major ones rewrite the timeline outright, adding events, replacing others, sending ripples that have to combine just right to save all six.

The housemates are not the only ones with choices. Each can be pulled from the fire in several ways, and every outcome carries a different future. You can chase the fastest solution or hunt for the best possible result for everyone. Setting up base in the smoke-damaged house hours after the fire, you watch past events replay as ghostly scenes, and the environment resets around you as the past you rewrite takes hold.
