Football Coach: College Dynasty is a management sim built specifically for the college-football side of American football — recruiting, development, scheme-building, and career-spanning dynasty play. You can play as a coach starting at a small school and climbing the ladder, or as your favorite school running them through decades of championships. Both modes share the same deep simulation underneath.

The gameplay layer is the playbook. Over 100 offensive and defensive plays sit in the standard playbook, with a robust and realistic simulation engine resolving every snap. Calling plays, managing the gameplan, balancing strategies and practice focuses — the game models the entire decision space a real college coach occupies during and between games. A coach XP system unlocks skills across offense, defense, training and recruiting branches, with skill badges granting specific bonuses to performance, development or recruitment. Decades-long careers track every statistic for every player and team.

League customization runs deep. Playoff formats are configurable. Conference realignment options let you reshape college football's structure. Injury rules, transfer portal behavior, draft rules, NIL rules and dozens of other settings are tweakable. Four difficulty modes — including Hard and Legend challenge modes — accommodate everything from casual fans to hardcore simmers. The record-keeping is genuinely impressive: every game log, every season's awards, every career path can be reviewed years later with a click.
