Exhibition matches let you pick any of 32 teams against the CPU or a friend, while Franchise Mode runs unlimited seasons with player wire events, weekly news, stat tracking and a full off-season that includes retirements, free agency, progression and a seven-round draft.

The controls split the difference between arcade speed and simulation weight. Player momentum and a custom throwing mechanic give passes real touch, while traits and team chemistry decide whether your roster gels on Sundays. Tournament Mode runs a 16-team bracket, and Training Camp Mode acts as a sandbox for drills and play practice.

Customization is one of the marquee pillars. Hairstyles, faces, visors, gear, helmets and team identity all bend to player creation tools, letting communities rebuild real-world leagues or invent new ones. Realistic weather including lightning, day-night cycle lighting and live presentation overlays sell the broadcast feel.
