Hegemony Gold expands the original Philip of Macedon with extra factions, refined diplomacy and broader tactical options. The map covers ancient Greece without loading screens, letting you zoom from a battalion's stance to the whole peninsula on the same plane.

Warfare runs the full range. Send scouts to map mountain passes, raid border villages, block coastal supply runs, then commit to a pitched field battle once the enemy's harvest is already burning. Cities you take need garrisons and grain routes, so logistics matter as much as which spear-line stands where.

Three historical campaigns follow Macedonia, Athens and Sparta; sandbox mode opens twenty-six factions to lead from scratch. Longbow Games tuned both the campaign tempo and the diplomacy after community feedback on the original, and the result still benchmarks among the era's deeper grand-strategy entries on Steam.
