Home Behind

In Home Behind you play a refugee cast out from your homeland by a band of rebels. Civil war has finally erupted, your village has burned to the ground, and your daughter has disappeared. Faced with death, you choose to survive and to reach the safety of Europe, and perhaps reunite with your daughter.

All events and experiences are randomly generated, so no two playthroughs are alike. You travel 1500 kilometers toward safety, tracking your mood, nutrition, and water while avoiding terrible diseases, surviving day and night and random weather. The game draws its world from real events and real stories.

You can unlock 15 jobs, each with its own starting skills, items, and rewards, collect hundreds of items, and craft and upgrade weapons and armor to forge the strongest gear. Cooking your own meals from whatever you find helps you stay alive, while a wide range of enemies, wild beasts, rebel soldiers, and difficult bosses, stand between you and survival.
