Imperium Galactica II revives a classic from gaming's golden age, an early empire-building space RTS, dressed up with fresh high-resolution textures and richer color. It serves up a broad, one-of-a-kind science-fiction universe and several playable species.

You take your empire in hand and guide it into the future, using intrigue and espionage to weaken rivals and strengthen yourself, or by researching and fielding a military so dominant nothing in the universe can stand against it. Massive battles play out in space and on the ground, across three campaigns to play and a near-endless run of custom scenarios.

This is deep real-time strategy in the classic 4X mold, explore galaxies, expand through colonization or conquest, exploit other species and exterminate all opposition. It features vast space armadas, an in-depth economy and population to manage, a wealth of researchable upgrades, ships and tanks you can customize, and galactic alliances. The remaster adds support for arbitrary screen resolutions, higher-resolution interface textures, improved planet lighting and a browser for finding multiplayer games.
