KeeperRL

KeeperRL combines classic dungeon simulator gameplay with roguelike and RPG elements. As an evil keeper, you dig out and construct a dungeon and recruit malicious minions to do your bidding, training and equipping them before taking up the fight against the forces of good. You can take direct control of your minions in tactical, simultaneous turn-based combat, where every move you make is matched by your enemies.

Dungeon management runs deep: you dig into the mountain to build sleeping quarters, training rooms, crafting stations and decorations, and defend the whole thing with traps, guard areas and choke points against invaders, expanding across many vertical Z-levels. The world is procedurally generated and simulated in fine detail, with dozens of items, spells and special attacks, where you and your enemies alike can be poisoned, blinded or dismembered, and a dead Keeper means starting over.

You can master up to 10 unique factions and their keepers, playing as a Dark Wizard mastering black magic, a Necromancer raising the undead, or a Goblin King leading a horde of greenskins, with each choice shaping your dungeon's style. A large world map offers locations to raid for loot and infamy, while rival factions may raid you in turn. Steam Workshop support lets you download other players' dungeons as enemies, share your own, and browse community mods.
