Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis casts you as Gregor, who wakes one morning to find himself rather inconveniently transforming into a tiny bug, while his friend Joseph is being arrested for reasons unknown. To save Joseph and find the answers he seeks, Gregor must embark on a journey through a world that, like himself, has become twisted and unfamiliar.

What once seemed like mundane dwellings have become an expansive obstacle course, and now you chart a path through the dingy nooks and crannies that exist within the cracks of civilization. You experience the world from a bug's perspective in first person, seeing everything in a whole new way.

The game leans on challenging environmental puzzles, with parkour, wall climbing and clue hunting, and unique movement mechanics that make full use of your tiny body and sticky limbs. Its story is inspired by Kafka's imagination, sending you to meet eccentric characters across a hand-painted, surrealist world on a journey toward The Tower, using your wits to uncover the truth and regain the life you once knew.
