About Mining Mechs
Mining Mechs casts you as the operator of a high-tech Mining Mech, called in to investigate strange noises and weird activities detected underground. The basic loop is dig deep, collect valuable resources, return to the surface, sell what you gathered, and reinvest the money into mech upgrades or new mech purchases — each with its own benefits for the depths.
The difficulty curve scales with depth. The deeper you go, the tougher the gameplay gets, and your equipment needs to scale to match. Upgrading your mech for faster, deeper, longer digs is the central progression vector. Finding mines and connecting them to the surface establishes passive income streams that fund larger upgrades.
Multiplayer scales up to 8 total players (yourself plus 7 friends) in online co-op, which extends the simple solo loop into a coordinated team effort. The narrative thread — unraveling the dark secrets of the underground — runs alongside the resource extraction game. Achievements unlock through completing the various challenges layered across the campaign. The whole project is built as a chill, dig-friendly co-op experience rather than an intense action game.
