Core Keeper

Core Keeper is a mining sandbox adventure for 1-8 players, blending exploration, crafting, base-building, combat and farming into one cohesive underground experience. You awaken as an explorer in a long-forgotten cavern teeming with untold secrets. Your goal is to harvest relics and resources, craft advanced tools, build a base, and unveil the power of the ancient Core at the heart of the world.

Mining is the foundational verb. Delve deep to harvest precious resources and unearth hidden gems. Craft tools — pickaxes, fishing rods, shovels, traps, bombs, mortars — to help you survive. Upgrade your arsenal to advanced tools like the mighty Obliteration Ray, and automated machinery to streamline mining, smelting, storage and more. Skill leveling unlocks powerful weapons and abilities to conquer the depths.

The world is unusually diverse for a cavern setting. Multiple biomes with unique ecosystems and long-forgotten lore — from the living walls of the Clay Caves to the crystal caverns of the Shimmering Frontier — surround you with discoveries. Build a boat to set sail across the Sunken Sea, race across the Desert of Beginnings, and encounter the remnants of ancient civilizations as you push the boundaries of the explored map.

Combat builds toward Titan boss fights. Legendary Titans hold the secrets of this long-forgotten world, and battling them requires skill against a variety of monsters and mini-bosses along the way. Talent points unlock abilities, strategic planning matters for the bigger encounters, and rare loot powers up the Core itself. 2-8 player drop-in/drop-out online co-op lets you tackle everything solo or with friends, including dedicated server hosting for persistent worlds. Customize your character with armor and outfits, build bases with diverse materials, raise animals, cook recipes, play music on actual playable instruments — Core Keeper is one of the more complete sandbox adventures of its generation.
