About OXENFREE II Lost Signals
OXENFREE II: Lost Signals continues Night School Studio's narrative adventure series five years after the events of the original. Riley Poverly returns to her coastal hometown of Camena to investigate electromagnetic interference that's disrupting radios, planes, and televisions — and to confront a cult called Parentage that's working to deliberately open a new portal.
The core conversation system from Oxenfree is intact and expanded. Choices in dialogue shape relationships and outcomes, and an all-new walkie-talkie mechanic lets you call contacts and townspeople at any time to ask questions or check in. Whether you respond, ignore, or interrupt people changes how the story develops.
The radio mechanic returns: tune frequencies to manipulate ghostly signals, travel through time tears, and communicate with the supernatural. Camena itself is more physical than Edwards Island was — Riley climbs, rappels, and traverses the coastal landscape in a way the first game didn't.
The story works as a standalone, though playing Oxenfree first deepens the references. Voice cast and writing carry the same loose, naturalistic tone — overlapping conversations, drifting silences, quiet moments cut by paranormal interference.
