About Project Sparrow
Project Sparrow is a fantasy arena PvP shooter built around archery. The base movement is fast and dodge-heavy, and the core verb is firing arrows at a moving target while you yourself are mid-air or rolling. Modes split between duels (1v1), 2v2, 3v3, and deathmatch.
Loadouts are swappable between rounds. Arrow types include explosive (with self-knockback), poison (slow), lightning (stun), smoke (vision block), and fire (damage over time). Movement abilities include dash for direction changes, jump-out-of-roll timing for extended distance, and void rift teleport for repositioning or aggressive flanks.
Utility options round out the loadout: pocket dust briefly blinds nearby opponents, smoke bombs block line of sight, and a thrown knife finishes off weak enemies. Melee mid-air turns into a kick that knocks players back and stuns them on impact with walls; parry timing lets you reverse incoming melee.
Netcode includes client-side prediction, lag compensation, and instant replays for killcams and round-enders. Dedicated servers globally, with custom games and tournament-grade spectator controls. The genre niche is small but the technical execution is more serious than the small-team scale would suggest.
