About Project Winter
Eight players are dropped into a frozen wilderness with one shared goal that almost nobody fully shares. Survivors chop trees, break rocks and gather berries and herbs to craft materials, repair a string of objectives and bring the cabin radio back online so a rescue vehicle can be called in. Traitors, marked to each other by a red symbol and equipped with a private red radio, want exactly the opposite: derail the escape without being exposed or killed.
Communication is the real battlefield. Proximity voice, separate radio channels, text chat and emotes mean every word can be a clue or a lie, and a sudden blizzard that forces the whole group indoors turns a quiet match into a pressure cooker. Survivors loot crates scattered through the map's buildings for gear, while traitors raid their own hidden crates and hatches to tip the odds.
Project Winter 2.0: Cabin Fever streamlines the formula so newcomers can join quickly, while the harsher Classic mode still rewards veterans who can coordinate under stress. Custom rule sets let groups tune the paranoia to taste, and unlocked cosmetics and progression trees give a reason to keep returning. No two rounds play out the same way.
