Railway Empire

Railway Empire is set in the United States of 1830, as the New World rises and industry booms. The race is on to establish the most dominant and powerful rail empire in North America, and you must outthink and outmaneuver your competitors to lead your company into the 20th century.

You create an elaborate, wide-ranging rail network, purchase over 40 different trains modeled in extraordinary detail, and build or buy railway stations, maintenance buildings, factories and tourist attractions to keep your travel network ahead of the competition. You also hire and manage a workforce to ensure efficient service, and research over 300 technologies, from mechanical improvements to workplace infrastructure and advanced amenities, across five eras of technological innovation.

Building and researching alone will not get you to the top, since the competition never sleeps. You survive against up to three rival tycoons, and reaching the top may require cutthroat tactics, attacking and sabotaging your opponents through raids and industrial espionage.
