RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic

RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic is Chris Sawyer's own 2017 remaster that stitches the strongest material from RollerCoaster Tycoon and RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 into a single package. The isometric art, the chiptune-flavored music and the dense management loop all carry over intact, so the game still plays exactly like a late-90s Sawyer simulation.

The scenario list runs 95 parks, ranging from the tranquil Forest Frontiers to the chaotic Megaworld. Build coasters piece by piece or drop pre-made designs, lay paths and landscaping with the same fiddly grid tools the originals used, hire mechanics and entertainers, and manage marketing alongside loan repayments.

The Wacky Worlds expansion adds 17 scenarios themed around real landmarks (Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, Great Wall), while Time Twister adds 14 scenarios across prehistoric, mythological, Roaring Twenties and futuristic eras. The Toolkit ships scenario and ride editors, with import support for many original RCT2 saves and designs from the older PC release.
