About Sky Rogue
Sky Rogue is a fwooshy rogue-lite action flight simulator — the developer's word, and it fits. The game blends arcade flight feel with roguelike run structure: procedurally generated missions over infinite islands, customisable aircraft loadouts, and permadeath when you fly badly enough.
The core verb is blowing things up over land, sea, and air. Enemy aces dogfight you in the air, giant flying aircraft carriers and battleships defend the seas, and ground installations bristle with anti-air. Volleys of missiles are a constant threat, and surviving demands both reflexes and tactical loadout decisions.
12+ pilotable aircraft cover a range from agile interceptors through heavy attack craft. 30+ weapons let you customise loadouts for specific run goals — anti-air, anti-ship, balanced, or speed-build. Permanent unlocks between runs add depth: secret technologies become available after completing the game once, opening new aircraft and weapon options.
2-player local splitscreen co-op lets you fly missions together. The game intentionally avoids realistic flight-sim complexity in favour of arcade feel — short flights, immediate threat response, snappy controls. From small indie developer Fractal Phase. A quietly excellent game that delivers exactly what its description promises.
