About TOP DOG
TOP DOG runs short, intense, randomized sessions of 10-20 minutes each, mixing arcade air combat with roguelike progression. You pilot a strafe-capable supersonic VTOL, teching up and upgrading mid-flight as the run escalates around you.
Controls stay deliberately simple: one fire button (hold for guns, tap for missiles), one target button (hold for cinematic zoom and aim-assist), one thrust button, and strafing to dodge enemy fire. Mouse-and-keyboard uses an FPS-style scheme, while Xbox controllers are supported directly and others including HOTAS work through Steam Input.
Three difficulty levels (operations) vary length, intensity, and score potential. Daily leaderboards reset every 36 hours for score-attack chasing, and the minimum hardware requirements are deliberately low (the game runs on 10+ year old machines and installs in minutes).
