Speed Crew

Speed Crew throws 1-4 players into a pit crew juggling tire changes, engine repairs, refueling, body work and a dozen other mechanic tasks across cars arriving with random problems. Each championship spans levels themed around a different decade (70s, 80s, 90s, 00s), with retro vibes baked into the visuals, soundtrack and pit-lane hazards.

The core appeal is the chaos. Multiple players have to coordinate divisions of labor, slap each other to motivate or just for fun, dodge shifting platforms and pit-lane debris, and watch the timer tick as drivers wait. The titular rival Dominion Torrento makes things harder in the campaign by sabotaging your runs. In Arcade Mode, one player plays Dominion against the others.

48 levels across four chapters, sponsored side races with hidden prizes, animated and voiced cinematics covering the multi-decade rivalry storyline, and unlockable characters and costumes round out the package. Local couch co-op or online cooperative play both work, and the chaos scales unpredictably depending on how many friends are on the receiving end of slap motivation.
