Steredenn Binary Stars

Steredenn: Binary Stars is the heavily expanded version of the award-winning Steredenn, a chaotic space shooter rendered in big, detailed pixels and crossed with a roguelike. You fly solo or in local co-op, fighting off the worst of space in a never-ending struggle to survive.

Runs are short and intense, built around rock-hard boss battles that pull you back for one more attempt. Levels are practically randomly generated, twisted space events shake things up, and you upgrade your ship in flight from an arsenal of 42 weapons and 30 upgrades, forging a different path through the universe each time. Local co-op puts two ships and four weapons on a single shared lifebar, a real test of a friendship.

Five playable ships each bring their own special ability and feel. Beyond the standard mode, Boss Rush throws a weekly selection of bosses at you for the leaderboard, Daily Run gives every player one shared attempt per day, and Arena lets you unlock a boss by beating it in the main game and then drill against it one-on-one.
