Sun Haven

Sun Haven is a fantasy farming simulator that pulls the RPG layer all the way to the foreground. The cozy farm-life loop is still here — plant, water, harvest, raise livestock, fish, mine, decorate — but a full skill tree, combat system with swords, crossbows and magic spells, and a story-driven main questline run alongside it. There's no stamina bar, day length is configurable, and most quality-of-life settings can be tuned to whatever pace you prefer.

The scope is unusual for the genre. The world spans four distinct regions — the medieval town of Sun Haven, the elven forests of Nel'Vari, the monster city of Withergate, and the underwater Brinestone Deeps — each with its own crops, recipes, festivals and storylines. Over 30,000 lines of dialogue cover 23 romance candidates spread across all four towns, with full marriage, house upgrades and the option to have a child through the world's in-fiction magic. Seven playable races, ten starting professions, and a generous character editor let players build a wide range of identities, and the game lets you change appearance later at the Sun Haven Salon if you regret early choices.

Multiplayer supports up to eight players sharing a single farm online, with character inventory and experience carrying over between solo and multiplayer sessions. Combat, exploration, farming, fishing and mining each have their own skill trees feeding into the level-70 skill tomes that push builds past their baseline. Pets, mounts, fantastical livestock from baby griffons to tar slimes, a 130-fish catalog, the Sun Haven Museum, 40+ crafting tables, 8 customizable houses and 177 achievements keep the long tail going well past the first wedding.
