SUNLESS SEA

Sunless Sea is a Gothic horror RPG focused on exploration, exquisite storytelling and frequent death, set in the award-winning Victorian universe of Fallen London. You take the helm of a Victorian steamship and set sail across a vast underground sea, where giant crabs, sentient icebergs and swarms of bats are only the start of your problems, and madness and cannibalism wait beyond them. Still, the black ocean beckons, and there is loot for brave souls.

You seek out intriguing individuals for your crew, hiring unique officers like the Haunted Doctor and the Irrepressible Cannoneer, each with a story to draw out. Stray too far from the gas-lamps of civilization and your crew grows fearful, eventually losing their sanity in the dark. The world is deep and compelling, packed with over 350,000 words of stories and secrets: find your father's bones, determine London's destiny, defy the gods of the deep.

Your captain will die, but you pass resources from one generation to the next, acquiring a family home and a hoard of heirlooms to build a legacy of zailors. The game features beautiful hand-drawn art, real-time combat against ships and zee-beasts, steamship upgrades from engines to torpedo guns, choosable ship's mascots and the chance to trade or smuggle silk, souls and hallucinogenic honey.
