Tannenberg

Tannenberg brings the massive battles of the WW1 Eastern Front to life with 64 players fighting for control of key sectors, each offering distinct strategic advantages. The Russian Empire, Germany, and their allies clash across lakes, forests, mountains, and snowy plains inspired by the Battle of Tannenberg in 1914, one of the most iconic encirclement battles in history.

Seven squads cover Russian Frontovik and Cossack, Latvian Riflemen, Roumanian infantry, Austro-Hungarian K.u.K., German Infanterie, and Bulgarian rifle units. 50+ weapons are authentically modeled. Eight large maps support tactical freedom, joined by full AI bot support so 64-player Maneuver mode is playable at any time. Several other game modes round out the options.

Maneuver mode reflects the nature of war on the Eastern Front: large open maps where objectives and battle lines constantly shift, four-man squad gameplay with distinctive skills, and the freedom to choose which sectors to attack or defend. Sister titles Gallipoli, Isonzo, and Verdun cover other fronts. Extensive field research went into uniforms, weapons, and terrain to recreate the period with the same level of accuracy across the entire WW1 Game Series.
