The Apogee Throwback Pack reissues four classic shareware-era shooters into a single bundle with widescreen support for modern Windows and Mac. Blake Stone Aliens of Gold cast you as a British secret agent hunting Dr. Pyrus Goldfire, a geneticist building an army of bizarre creatures - Apogee's direct answer to the 1992 success of Wolfenstein 3D.

Blake Stone Planet Strike continues the manhunt years later at the abandoned STAR Institute on Planet Selon, where Goldfire has rebuilt his mutant army. Rise of the Triad puts the HUNT taskforce against an island fortress cult armed with heat-seeking missiles, split missiles and the Flamewall cannon. Extreme Rise of the Triad piles on more than 40 new levels and a level randomizer for endless runs.

The whole package keeps the nostalgia intact while smoothing the rough edges that made the originals harder to run on current hardware. Modding support remains, so the communities around each title can continue building.
