About The Jackbox Party Pack
The Jackbox Party Pack is the first entry in the now-iconic series of same-room party game collections from the team behind You Don't Know Jack. The headline innovation, present from the start, is the control scheme — players use phones, tablets or any web-enabled device as their controllers by connecting to the jackbox.tv address and entering an on-screen room code. No game controllers needed, no need to install anything on the player devices, and the same single copy of the game runs an entire party.
The pack ships five games. You Don't Know Jack 2015 is the trivia comedy sensation that defined the franchise, with hundreds of all-new questions and support for one to four players. Fibbage XL is the hilarious bluffing game where you write fake answers to trivia questions and try to fool other players into picking yours — for two to eight players, with over 50% more questions than the original Fibbage. Drawful is the bizarre drawing game where you sketch prompts on your phone with minimal skill required for three to eight players. Word Spud is the racy-as-you-want fill-in-the-blank word game for two to eight. Lie Swatter is the fact-vs-fake quiz that supports one to one hundred players.
The games are designed for living-room parties but the format has translated comfortably to remote play during the years since. Sharing your screen over Zoom, Steam Broadcast, Google Hangouts or Discord — with audio shared along with the video — lets distant friends play exactly the same way they would in person, and the audience mode in some games supports literal hundreds of remote spectators voting alongside the main players.
