About Thief Simulator
Thief Simulator places you in a free-roaming suburban neighborhood and asks you to plan and execute burglaries. The cycle is real burglar work: observe the target house, learn the occupants' schedules, identify which times the place is empty, note nosy neighbors, and check for security cameras and alarms before committing.
The heist itself is fast and choice-heavy. Limited backpack space means you can't grab everything, so you have to prioritize valuables over filler. A flashlight at night highlights valuables and likely hiding spots. Lockpicking, hacking, key hunting in trash bins, and exploiting purchase receipts (which reveal what valuable electronics a homeowner recently bought) all open faster paths inside.
Fences buy stolen goods, but phones and tablets need security wiped, and stolen cars get disassembled and sold for parts on a fake internet. Police response, neighbor witnesses and homeowner surprise encounters all create real failure states. Cash earned funds hi-tech burglar gear that unlocks more daring jobs.
