About Tile Cities
Tile Cities reduces city-building to a relaxing puzzle game. Each level offers randomly generated city block tiles which you place to compose a coherent and good-looking city map. The strategic layer is matching colored buildings and parks to neighborhood demand and connecting tram lines to depots for scoring bonuses.
The game intentionally strips away the management complexity that typifies the city-builder genre — no economy, no citizen happiness simulation, no political decisions. The whole experience is about composing aesthetically pleasing arrangements that also satisfy the simple matching rules.
A creative mode removes the matching constraints entirely. You can regenerate tile options until you get one you like, and the goal becomes purely "build a city that looks the way you want." Each tile has its own internal road network, building mix, and park placement, and combining them well is its own visual challenge.
The presentation is clean and isometric, deliberately small in scope, and aimed at short relaxing sessions rather than long strategic campaigns. A puzzle game in the lineage of Mini Metro and Dorfromantik — small, considered, and satisfied with being what it is. Solo dev release.
