About Try To Fall Asleep
Try To Fall Asleep is a first-person action-adventure horror game. John Herrin survived a horrible accident that damaged his brain and erased his memory; only Dr. Rick Norberg and a friendly robot named AB can help him recover. By falling asleep and reliving his past in dreams, John can restore his memory and learn what caused a catastrophe at a secretive laboratory of the Revivel company.
Brain damage makes sleep anything but easy, bringing hallucinations and unsettling sounds. The game is split into six nights, four currently available, each with a sleeping phase and a dreaming phase. In the sleeping phase you must fall asleep before 4 am, balancing a sleep level you raise by closing your eyes against a stress level that climbs when hallucinations appear, and hallucinations can become monsters that cause a jumpscare if you do not hide under the blanket in time. Keeping your eyes open and turning on the light reduces stress.
The dreaming phase lets you freely roam and explore as you relive the events that led to John's condition, but a dream can quickly turn into a nightmare. From walking in the woods to escaping nightmarish situations, the answers to who caused the mysterious incident lie within John's memories.
