Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War II

The Anniversary Edition repackages Relic's Dawn of War II alongside Chaos Rising, Retribution and The Last Stand, plus every released DLC and cosmetic. The series shifted Warhammer 40K RTS away from base-building toward small elite squad command, with melee sync-kills, suppression mechanics and destructible cover dominating engagements.

The original campaign follows a Blood Ravens strike force and supports two-player co-op the whole way through. Chaos Rising adds fifteen missions, a Chaos Space Marines multiplayer faction and two new Last Stand heroes (Chaos Sorcerer, Tyranid Hive Tyrant) while threading a corruption-and-loyalty subplot through the chapter.

Retribution is the standalone expansion that lets you replay the campaign as any of six factions: Space Marines, Chaos, Orks, Eldar, Tyranids and Imperial Guard. Each campaign customizes pacing and mission objectives to that race. The Essence Engine 2.0 still holds up for unit detail, and Last Stand mode pits three heroes against escalating survival waves.
