About Zup!
Zup! 6 keeps to the formula the series has been refining since the first entry. Each level is a single-screen physics puzzle where the goal is to land a blue ball on a platform and keep it there for three seconds. The tools you have to make that happen are explosions, gravity, and the geometry of whatever shapes the level places between you and success.
The series has become known on Steam less for the puzzles themselves and more for its achievement structure — 2,440-plus achievements pop across 60-plus levels, which means almost every action you take in the game unlocks something. It's the kind of game that exists on the boundary between puzzle and toy, and many players use it as much for the achievement-collecting culture as for the puzzles.
The game is built on Clickteam Fusion 2.5, takes its core mechanical influence from Sergio Andre, and ships with original music by Ann Sharova. The presentation is deliberately minimalist — flat shapes, plain backgrounds, no narrative — and the price tag is correspondingly small. Trading cards ship with the package.
