Army of Ruin

Army of Ruin is an auto-shooter in the survivor-like vein of Vampire Survivors and its successors. You guide one of several legendary heroes through hordes of foes that swarm onto the map, with attacks firing automatically while you focus on positioning and pickup collection. The objective: survive long enough to defeat the fearsome Army Generals waiting at run's end.

Each hero has unique skills that can shift the tide of battle when used wisely. Trinkets and equipment enhance and combine to evolve weapons beyond their base limits, with hundreds of possible combinations across the available roster. Levels accumulate through pickups during runs, while between-mission upgrades let you boost long-term progression with rewards earned across plays.

Unlock new equipment over time to face increasingly hard quests. Hundreds of challenges populate the long-tail content. The studio designed for a quick, thrilling experience emphasizing simplicity and fun, with each run typically running short rather than the marathon runs some survivor-likes prefer. The auto-shooter genre's central appeal (watching the screen fill with bullets and explosions while you barely steer the action) carries the package.
