Goobies

Goobies is a top-down auto-shooter with roguelike progression — your weapons fire on their own, leaving you to dodge and position while ever-larger waves of blob enemies converge.

Five playable Goobies each carry a different passive ability, and runs revolve around stacking 30+ items (most with multiple upgrade tiers) into builds that escalate from "manageable" to lag-inducing screens of projectiles.

Up to 20 game-changing artifacts modify mechanics and visuals between runs. Goobie coins persist across deaths and unlock further upgrades and characters, and an in-game encyclopedia gradually fills in the lore behind the various blobs you've been splattering.

Procedural levels and scaling difficulty mean no two runs play the same. Sessions are short, the loop is the familiar Vampire Survivors-derived shape, and the appeal is the snowball — finding the combo that turns the final boss into wallpaper.
