About PAWARUMI
Pawarumi is a contemporary shoot-em-up that unfolds in a retro-futuristic, pre-Columbian take on science fiction. In a world the Council holds in an iron grip, you fly as Axo at the controls of the legendary ship Chukaru, fighting the Council's endless armies, mastering the ship's power and uncovering the dark secret behind it all.
Chukaru carries three separate weapons plus a single super attack, all controlled with a single button, while a shield triggers automatically just before a hit lands, wiping out nearby bullets, though it depletes fast, so caution still matters. The heart of the design is the Trinity Mechanic: firing the correct weapon at each enemy type lets you deal extra damage, mend your shield or recharge the super on the fly, a rock-paper-scissors logic that adds a tactical layer and lets you recover even after a small mistake.
Presented in full 3D for cinematic staging, the game runs across five levels set around the world and shaped by 1990s pop culture, with three difficulty levels that each give a different ending. A weapon-mastery scoring system rewards careful juggling without any long combos to maintain, all set to a Peruvian electro-metal soundtrack, with complete support for keyboard and controller and remappable inputs.
